MILOS QuickTruss® has provided temporary structures for roof projects at two major US baseball stadiums - Washington DC's Nationals Park and Baltimore's Oriole Park.
The temporary structures were used as television broadcasting booths complete with lighting, cabling and electrical wires, along with a weather-proof canopy to keep commentators dry during rainy innings.
MILOS medium duty M290V Quatro trussing was selected for the frame, while custom 1360kg (3000lbs) concrete blocks were specified by the engineers at Oriole Park and fitted to the truss.
MILOS America's president Jeff Broitman, says: "With a [normal] four to six week turnaround time-frame, we actually delivered in nine days."
