Self tan brand St.Tropez has joined forces with ITEC to offer UK therapists the opportunity to study for the internationally recognised St. Tropez ITEC Tanning Diploma.
The sunless tanning qualification has been designed to help Level 3 Beauty Therapists who operate their own clinic or home-visiting practice to develop their knowledge base.
It is structured around three modules: Original Tan; Spray and UV Tanning and Business Awareness and Professional Conduct.
All three modules cover tan preparation and maintenance; tan application and treatments for both Original and Spray Tanning; full St.Tropez product knowledge and understanding of industry product choices; the consultation process and contra indications and pre- and after-care of skin. Other topics featured include retailing skills; customer service; health and safety laws; business planning and case studies.
ITEC is an international examination board, operating in more than 33 countries worldwide, and includes international qualifications in categories such as hairdressing, complementary therapies and beauty. Details: http://salon.st-tropez.com or www.itecworld.co.uk
