The first of a new range of tree stump grinders from Toro has been launched.
The STX26 tracked stump grinder is designed to offer productivity combining easy-to-use controls with fast transport speeds of over 6km an hour.
Toro stump grinders can be used daily. The hydraulically driven head means no chance of expensive belts breaking or slipping and no tension adjustments.
The head also features a built-in braking system – within three seconds of the operator releasing the joystick, the head stops.
The exclusive Quadrablade tooth design cuts like a router without ‘pulling’ the operator into the stump, ensuring a smooth cut.
Well balanced, easy to operate and simple to maintain they have T-bar style controls and tracks for greater manoeuvrability and side hill stability.
